Is AI Really the Fix for Underperforming Marketing?

I’ve been running wild, testing everything in my business and my clients’ businesses lately. Trying out all the shiny toys.

AI is the golden child of marketing right now. Everywhere you turn, someone’s preaching it like it’s the second coming.

Manual work? That’s medieval. Who even does that anymore? Just let AI take over—write your copy, run your ads, book your dinner reservations, maybe even make your coffee.

Sounds good, right?

Except it’s complete BS.

Because here’s the thing: I still write my own copy.

I still book my own damn dinner reservations. And every time I ask AI to write something, guess what? It sounds exactly like a robot spat it out.

No surprises there. A robot wrote it.

Now don’t get me wrong—AI is brilliant at a lot of things. But when it comes to selling to humans?AI flops. Big time.

And selling to humans? That’s literally what you and I do all day, every day. Whether it’s a product, a service, or an idea—you’re selling it to a breathing, feeling, coffee-drinking human.

So Here’s What I Did

I went rogue. Instead of automating everything, I started sprinkling more human-to-human elements into my marketing.

Wild move, I know. But the results?

Gangbusters. Absolute gangbusters.(Yes, that word still exists—and it fits here.)

Turns out, humans love connecting with other humans.

Who would’ve guessed, right? Especially when those humans (ahem, you) know how to solve their problems and actually give a damn.

Here’s What’s Next

I’m wrapping up a step-by-step guide on how to bring this human touch into your business. The goal?

  • More sales.

  • More customers.

  • More money.

And when that cash rolls in, maybe we can finally splurge on one of those AI-powered coffee machines everyone’s raving about.(Dream big.)
